The participants of this internship gain experience in dealing with guests on a daily basis. Further main focuses are the composition of a breakfast or the preparation of simple meals. But also the correct serving, cleaning work or the appealing preparation of buffets belong to their tasks.

Focal Points:

  • Contact and interaction with guests
  • Preparing a breakfast
  • Combination of meat and sausage plates
  • Preparation of salads, yoghurts, puddings and cereals
  • Annex of nutritional value tables
  • Preparation and clearing of the dining room
  • Serving food and drink
  • Application of hygiene regulations in the gastronomy sector
  • Cleaning of the rooms and public areas of the hotel
  • Help at the reception and in the back office (requires knowledge of the German language)
