Basic Knowledge Food

In this internship, the participants gain insights into the activities in the catering sector. This requires basic knowledge about the handling of food and hygiene regulations. Practical experience can be gained in the kitchen of the Wehlitz Estate and in partner companies.

  • The correct handling of food
  • Methods for the preparation of meat and vegetables
  • How to season food properly
  • Furnishing and clearing of the dining and kitchen area
  • Proper cleaning of workplaces in accordance with hygiene standards
