"Gut Wehlitz"

The first information found about Gut Wehlitz was written down in 1436, but the former manor is even older.
Between 919 and 936, the region around Wehltiz was owned by Heinrich the 1st and one of his vassals settled down at Gut Wehlitz. Later, the farms were turned into manors. The manor of Gut Wehlitz was the economical center of the region and is now a center for European visitors.
