 Learning Outcomes

    The student learns/knows:

  • Independent organisation of work tasks, development of soft skills and competences
  • Work with technical documentations and regulations, read technical drawings
  • Measurements of installation parameters according to technical documentation
  • Production of circuit diagrams and complex circuits (control technology)
  • Realisation of the common installation works

 Focal Points and Tasks

    The student develops their understanding of:

  • Planning and preparation of the individual work steps
  • Specifications on cross-sections and necessary protective devices
  • Cutting, trimming and correct wiring in junction boxes and power distributors
  • Commissioning and troubleshooting
  • Measurement voltage, protective conductor resistance, insulation resistance, tripping time and tripping current from RCD
  • Assembly of switches, push buttons, sockets and lamps
  • Use of monostable and bistable relays, time relays (multifunction: clock delay), transformer and bell system

 Learning outcomes common to all professions

  • Health and safety at work - observes health and safety rules and SOPs
  • Professionally oriented foreign language - improved ability to use a foreign language (English/German) in the execution of tasks and the ability to formulate short and comprehensible statements to communicate in the workplace
  • Personal and social competences - develops a culturally and ethically sound approach to working with others in a company, increased creativity and consistency in their actions, copes with stress, responsibility and assigned tasks
  • Organisation of work in small teams - increased ability to communicate and work collaboratively with colleagues, organise work in a team
